OPEN POSITIONS

General Manager, Hospitality

The General Manager of Hospitality is responsible for ensuring a consistently high-quality visitor experience through the seamless integration and management of CCA’s lodging operation, including Facilities and Preservation, Front Desk and Housekeeping Departments. The GM of Hospitality reports to and works closely with the Director of Operations (DOO). The DOO provides overarching vision and oversees the operational functions that support CCA’s lodging arm, while the General Manager of Hospitality provides direction to the managers responsible for the lodging departments themselves. Some evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes, this position is essential.

Guest Service Agent, Hospitality

The Guest Service Agent is a full time (32 hours plus), non-exempt position. The Guest Service Agent duties include; assisting visitors, registering guests, managing reservations and providing detailed information about cottages/units, rates and amenities. Shifts will vary from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) and will include a mix of weekdays and weekends. For emergency and inclement weather reporting, this position is considered essential.

PT Marketing Coordinator, Public Events

This is a part-time (20-24 hours), year-round, non-exempt position responsible for coordinating the day-to-day marketing fulfillment for the Chautauqua’s Public Events. Some evening and occasional weekend work will be required. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered non-essential.

Seasonal Event Custodian, Public Events

This is a part-time, seasonal, non-exempt position having responsibility for creating a positive and safe guest service experience as well as ensuring the general up-keep, cleanliness, and security of the Auditorium, Community House and surrounding areas.  Evening and weekend work is required in meeting position responsibilities.  For emergency and inclement weather reporting purposes this position is essential.

Seasonal Housekeeper

The Seasonal Housekeeper is a non-exempt position. The Seasonal Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Coordinator and is responsible for performing housekeeping duties in rental properties and public buildings in a timely manner, meeting established quality standards.  Weekend and some evening work are required in meeting position responsibilities. For emergency and inclement weather reporting this position is considered essential.
