Community House
YEAR ROUND
The Community House, known as Chautauqua’s “living room,” was built in 1918. Today, it is host to weddings, parties, meetings, retreats and events of all sizes throughout the year. The main room, known as the Grand Assembly, occupies the main floor and features hardwood floors, a fireplace and a large covered porch. One level below, the rustic Rocky Mountain Climbers’ Club, with its original stone walls and fireplace, is perfect for a luncheon or midsize meeting. The Meadows Room is a quiet space appropriate for smaller meetings.
Missions House Lodge

Perfect for smaller weddings, executive retreats or family reunions, Missions House Lodge is a truly special place for intimate gatherings and sharing innovative ideas. The arts and crafts interior and furnishings provide a warm setting for any family gathering or business retreat. The Missions House has eight bedrooms, sleeps 16 people, and hosts up to 24 people for events.
Mary H. Galey Cottage
YEAR ROUND
Located on the Enchanted Mesa Trail, the Mary H. Galey Cottage is perfect for petite weddings, small celebrations, or retreats of any kind. Your group will appreciate the flexible layout, expansive views from the lower and upper decks, and catering-grade kitchen. The cottage is accessible, sleeps up to 12 and can host up to 24 people. The Mary H. Galey Cottage also serves as a Green Room for your favorite musicians, including the Indigo Girls, David Crosby and Keb ‘Mo.
Chautauqua Dining Hall

A splendid combination of indoor and outdoor space imbued with historic charm, the Chautauqua Dining Hall and its outdoor spaces can accommodate from 25 to 180 guests. The Dining Hall is suitable for all types of events and celebrations and offers professional catering services customized to your every need.
- Dining Hall – Up to 80 guests for plated service.
- Dining Hall and Tent – Up to 180 guests for cocktail or plated service.
- East Porch – Up to 25 guests for smaller gatherings.
- Flagstone Patio – Up to 75 guests for cocktail service.
Chautauqua Café
MEMORIAL DAY – LABOR DAY
The Chautauqua Café, a reconstruction of one of Chautauqua’s most celebrated historic features, is located between the Dining Hall and the General Store. Pick up a coffee and snack at the General Store and enjoy it at the Café while taking in the panoramic Rocky Mountain views. The Café can be reserved for small private events for up to 40 people.
Auditorium Terrace
SEASONAL AND DEPENDENT UPON AUDITORIUM SCHEDULE
The Auditorium Terrace is an elegant setting for an outdoor reception, small luncheon, or wedding ceremony. This spacious flagstone patio overlooks the Centennial Garden and boasts spectacular views of the Flatirons. During the summer months, guests can find shelter from the sun or an afternoon shower under the terrace canopy. The terrace accommodates up to 75 people.
Picnic Shelter
SEASONAL AND DEPENDENT UPON AUDITORIUM SCHEDULE
Situated near two beautiful hiking trails with outstanding views of the Flatirons, the Picnic Shelter, built in the 1920’s, is the ideal location for casual gatherings, picnics and get-togethers. This historic, covered, open air shelter accommodates up to 75 people with four large picnic tables and a small grassy area, perfect for a game of cornhole or horseshoes – Colorado style!
Auditorium
MAY – SEPTEMBER
The Chautauqua Auditorium primarily hosts public events, but is occasionally available for private events including weddings, speakers, or meetings seasonally. The Auditorium seats 1,313 people and is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but has amazing acoustics.
