Sunrise Vinyasa at Chautauqua

Sunrise Vinyasa at Chautauqua

The early bird gets… the best views! Chautauqua invites you to its beautiful perch at the foot of the Flatirons for Sunrise Yoga outdoors every Tuesday morning in September! Salute the sunshine as it rises and start your day with positive energy by breathing, strengthening, and stretching into the fresh light of dawn with yogini Sandi Higgins. She will guide you through a 75-minute all-level vinyasa yoga class followed by an optional 15 minutes of seated meditation. * Extra clothing layers recommended for the change of temperature before and after sunrise.  Sun hat and/or light shawl recommended for seated meditation.

Working with the City of Boulder and the state, we are complying with all guidelines and requirements related to COVID-19. In order to provide a touchless ticketing experience, tickets are available online only. No drop-in sales at the door. Participants should not attend if they aren’t feeling well or may have been around those who are sick. Participants may be subject to safety protocols including temperature screenings and use of masks per local rules. Yoga mat locations will be predetermined and marked at six-foot distances.

Sunset Yoga and Meditative Hiking

Join us every Thursday evening in September for Yoga and Meditative Hiking at Chautauqua! Leave your yoga mat in the reserved patio space outside the historic Chautauqua auditorium and depart as a group to walk a quiet, meditative loop along the Enchanted Mesa trail. After the gentle hike, return to your yoga mat for an all-levels outdoor Vinyasa Yoga class at sunset. Your evening guide, Sandi Higgins, is a local Ashtanga based vinyasa yoga teacher and outdoor enthusiast who is sure to leave you feeling more relaxed, appreciative, and connected to both your external and internal environment.
